164. Kathy Oneto and Neha Mandhani on Endurance, Exploration, and Evolving Goals

Overview

I’m flipping the mic again and being interviewed by my friend and past guest, Neha Mandhani, about the journey of writing and publishing my book, Sustainable Ambition: How to Prioritize What Matters to Thrive in Life and Work.

In this conversation, I reflect on the vulnerable, imperfect process of writing and releasing the book and the support I’ve relied on as the book has transitioned from my hands to yours. Sustainable Ambition isn’t a magic wand that will give any of us all the answers, it’s a journey of ups and downs that I am on right alongside all of you.

More About Our Guest

Neha Mandhani is on a mission to humanize the workplace—one leader, one team, and one organization at a time. She partners with “people-first” leaders to lead authentically, create psychological safety, and bring humanity into business decisions to drive meaningful, sustainable results. Neha is an ICF-certified coach and has coached leaders globally across Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, and the public sector. She also leads workshops and programs and loves to create spaces where people feel seen and supported.

Neha spent 15 years in the corporate world, primarily in tech and management consulting, while honoring her dreams and callings on the margins, writing at 6 am on a Sunday morning or coaching a client when her kids were in bed. She’s now stepped out on her own, having designed a life to make more space to do work that she feels was hers to do and a life that feels in integrity with her purpose and to make her ambitions more sustainable!
