Many of us can look back on our life and identify moments when we passed over presented opportunities only to later regret that we didn’t jump on them or at least explore their possibility. It’s easy for this to happen when one is young and still finding ourselves. But as one gets older and knows herself better, those opportunities that resonate—as a glimmer or felt deeply—should be grasped, rather than questioned. As Po Bronson concluded in his popular book, “What should I do with my life?,” we often only get a subtle glimpse of what we should pursue, so we need to pay attention to what shows up and sparks an interest.
